Civil Engineer / Supervisor
CGC University is seeking a Civil Engineer / Supervisor to oversee campus construction, maintenance, and infrastructure development projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all civil works are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards, timelines, and institutional guidelines.
Job Description
- Supervise and monitor all construction, renovation, and maintenance activities across university buildings and facilities.
- Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety and design specifications.
- Manage material procurement, resource allocation, and inventory of civil works.
- Track project progress, report deviations, and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with structural, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control for civil infrastructure projects.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, AMC contracts, and service reports.
- Support administrative teams in campus expansion, facility improvement, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualification Criteria:
- Diploma / B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 3–8 years of experience in construction supervision, project management, or maintenance (educational/institutional experience preferred).
