Teaching Assistantship & Research Incentive Policy – CGC University, Mohali
CGC University, Mohali offers structured financial and academic support to full-time Ph.D. scholars through a Teaching Assistantship (TA) scheme and Research Incentives for impactful scholarly contributions. These initiatives reflects commitment to building a high-performance research culture.
Teaching Assistantship (TA) – Monthly Support
- Stipend: ₹25,000 per month
- Duration: Up to 3 years (renewable annually based on RAC and Dean Research approval)
- Load: 10–12 hours per week of academic duties
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting tutorials, lab sessions, and assisting in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching
- Supporting preparation of academic content and assessments
- Assisting in project evaluations and mentoring junior students
- Contributing to department-level academic engagements
Teaching Assistantship offers financial support while developing critical teaching experience.
General Guidelines

- Publications and conference papers must pass standard plagiarism checks
- Prior approval may be required for conference participation
