CGC University, Mohali, has officially unveiled its all-new Capgemini CodeXperience Center, a development designed to elevate students’ careers. This center provides a modern environment that simulates real-world IT workplaces and offers hands-on experience with live industry practices.
Students will gain practical exposure to enterprise-level tools, project workflows, and professional delivery standards followed by Capgemini worldwide. Known as the largest structured industry-integrated learning facility in North India, the center will train more than 500 students for placements in top global technology companies.
The center will provide 180 hours of structured training every year conducted by Capgemini experts. It will also focus on simulation-based learning and AI-driven innovation to help students develop practical technical skills.
Students will learn modern coding techniques using AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, and Tabnine. The center will also promote learning through low-code and no-code platforms like OutSystems, Mendix, and Bubble, allowing students to build applications using visual development methods.
To keep up with future technologies, the center will introduce students to Quantum Computing using platforms such as Qiskit (IBM), Cirq (Google), and Q# (Microsoft). Functional programming languages including Haskell, Scala, and F# will also be taught to improve debugging and reduce coding errors.
Students will gain experience with cloud-based development environments such as AWS Cloud9, Replit, and GitHub Codespaces. Along with technical knowledge, the center will strongly focus on soft skills development.

The program will help students improve problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Industry experts will also guide students in managing stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges faced in professional environments.
The Capgemini CodeXperience Center will enhance placement opportunities by offering direct hiring chances with Capgemini and more than 10 partner companies. Students will work on live projects to strengthen their resumes and participate in mock tests for better interview preparation.
Overall, the inauguration of the Capgemini CodeXperience Center at CGC University, Mohali, represents an important step toward industry-oriented education. All CSE courses at the university will now be supported by Capgemini, joining existing collaborations with organizations such as EY, KPMG, IBM, and other leading companies.
