CGC University, Mohali, Joins the Frontline of India’s AI Revolution

The AI revolution is set to become bigger and better than ever before, and CGC University, Mohali, will be at the heart of it. The Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEIT) has officially announced the launch of the AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled from 19–20 February 2026.

Set to be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, the summit aims to foster inclusive, impactful, and action-oriented artificial intelligence through global collaboration.

Pre-Summit Flagship Events

As part of this landmark initiative, MEIT has confirmed several pre-summit flagship events, with CGC University, Mohali, selected as one of the primary venues. These events focus on deploying transformative AI for inclusive growth, innovation, sustainability, and equitable progress.

The AI Impact Summit draws inspiration from the Three Sutras—People, Planet, and Progress—combining wisdom with action to drive collective benefit through multilateral cooperation.
