The Story Behind
Our Symbol
The founders of CGC University, Mohali, believed an academic institution should not create graduates who only chase jobs, but at the same time, it should also create a generation of leaders who understand the world they are stepping into.
The Maroon, for instance, was chosen deliberately, as it reflects the restless spirit of Gen-Z students pulling late nights before exams, building prototypes at 2 AM, arguing ideas in classrooms, rehearsing for competitions, and beginning again after failure. It is the color of ambition under pressure.
The Royal Blue border and lower arc, on the other hand, masterfully balance that intensity. You see, Royal Blue represents discipline, trust, and stability, making up a calm architecture which holds the fire together.
As for white, it touches upon the traces of clear purpose, integrity, ethics, equality, and a strong poise in the face of every professional and personal challenge.
