This EY-powered Bachelor of Computer Application (Data Science) program at CGC University, Mohali, makes for one substantial effort to empower students in the context of data science and its ancillary dynamics. All those candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream from any Board recognised or established by Central/State Government through a legislation and member of Council of School Education (COBSE) with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination from any recognised board.

Initiated with scholarships worth ₹5 Cr for 400+ students in 2021, the initiative grew rapidly, reaching ₹7 Cr for 1100+ students in 2022, ₹10 Cr for 2500+ students in 2023, and ₹12 Cr for 2900+ students in 2024. In 2025, the scholarship amount increased to ₹25 Cr, helping thousands of students. Now, for the academic year 2026–27, CGC University, Mohali is offering scholarships worth ₹50 Cr.
