On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, the Foundation organized “Shikshit Beti, Viksit Bharat,” an initiative dedicated to empowering meritorious girl students from nearby villages of Jhanjeri. Girls who secured positions in their respective merit lists were invited and gifted computers to encourage digital literacy and academic excellence. The initiative reflected the belief that educating a girl child lays the foundation for a progressive and developed nation.
Continuing its commitment to nation-building through education, the Foundation celebrated the International Day of Education with the theme “Shikshit Bharat, Samarth Bharat.” As part of this initiative, computer laboratories were established in Government Schools of Jhanjeri and Chunni Kalan, providing students access to modern digital learning facilities. These labs will help students develop essential computer skills and prepare them for future educational and career opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Foundation highlighted that, under the guidance of S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Father of Education, Honourable Chancellor, CGC University, Mohali, the organization remains committed to ensuring that quality education and digital resources reach every child, especially those from rural and underserved communities.
The initiatives received appreciation from students, parents, school authorities, and the local community. Through these programs, Great NavBharat Mission Foundation reaffirmed its mission to empower youth, uplift communities, and contribute towards a self-reliant and educated India.
