Two-Day AICTE-VAANI 2.0 Seminar on AI and Data Science in Industry 5.0

Chandigarh Engineering College, Jhanjeri  , Mohali, successfully organized a two-day seminar on 10th and 11th September 2025 under the AICTE-VAANI 2.0 scheme. Themed “Integrating AI and Data Science: Transforming the Digital World in Perspective of Industry 5.0 (In Punjabi)”, the event created a platform where academic thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners came together to share knowledge, insights, and practical perspectives on two of the most dynamic technologies shaping the future.

The seminar was designed with a unique purpose- to promote high standards in technical education while making advanced engineering concepts more accessible to a wider audience by delivering sessions in regional languages. This thoughtful approach not only aligned with the objectives of the AICTE-VAANI 2.0 initiative but also reaffirmed the role of CEC Jhanjeri in contributing towards India’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Across the two days, nine technical sessions were conducted covering a variety of themes connected to Artificial Intelligence and Data Science within the context of Industry 5.0. More than 60 participants from different colleges attended, benefitting from lectures that combined theoretical knowledge with practical industry applications. The sessions created an interactive space where academicians, working professionals, and participants could share ideas, discuss innovations, and explore the potential of AI and Data Science in transforming the digital landscape.
