This IBM-powered BCA (Data Science) program at CGC University, Mohali, is an innovative play, which collectively leverages the prowess of data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, computer applications, and other ancillary solutions to foster tech leadership at scale. In essence, the effort makes it possible for students to design intelligent systems, analyze massive datasets, and make strategic business decisions. Complementing that comprehensive curriculum would be the availability of live instructor-led sessions, experiential learning, and IBM mentorship, all of it coming together to achieve a future-ready crop of talent.

All those candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from any Board recognised or established by Central / State Government through a legislation and member of Council of School Education (COBSE) with 50% Marks and 45% for (SC/ST) category.
Initiated with scholarships worth ₹5 Cr for 400+ students in 2021, the initiative grew rapidly, reaching ₹7 Cr for 1100+ students in 2022, ₹10 Cr for 2500+ students in 2023, and ₹12 Cr for 2900+ students in 2024. In 2025, the scholarship amount increased to ₹25 Cr, helping thousands of students. Now, for the academic year 2026–27, CGC University, Mohali is offering scholarships worth ₹50 Cr.
