The Festival OfBasant Panchami Was Celebrated At CGC Jhanjeri Campus With Great Enthusiasm This 2022 The festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated at Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Jhanjeri with great enthusiasm. A special programme was held on the occasion under the guidance of DSW Department by organising various cultural programmes at the college to mark the festival of spring. The Basant Panchami or popularly known as the ‘kite festival’ was celebrated with kite-flying competition, rangoli competition, mehndi art competition, and dressing up for the day. All students of the college celebrated the festival by dressing up in various shades of yellow. On the occasion, college directors and all staff members were presented (of course, by keeping the COVID guidelines lines under the note to ensure safety) and they all wished the students on this occasion and motivated them to become best version of themselves as they are significant ones in building a better society. All the student participants made the event luminous and scintillating with their Bhangra and vibrant performances and appreciated by awarding certification of participation. Seeing all the enthusiasm and zeal during the event, Hon'ble President S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal Sir lauded the efforts of the organizing team, for the super-successful organization of the event.
