The solemn yet inspiring celebration was organised by the NCC Wing of CGC University, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing discipline, leadership, and national service among the youth.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Lt. Gen. Kamal Jit Singh, Former Army Commander, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, State Information Commissioner, renowned columnist, and Honorary Professor, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. His distinguished military career and continued contribution to public service added immense gravitas to the celebration.
Addressing the gathering, Lt. Gen. Kamal Jit Singh shared powerful insights into the values that define the Indian Army—courage, integrity, selfless service, and unyielding commitment to the nation. He motivated students and NCC cadets to embrace discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility, emphasizing the role of youth in safeguarding the country’s future.
